Fall CTAGA show is over

Well, The CTAGA fall gun show is over and things are starting to get back to normal around here. I have been busy getting some firearms ordered for stock and they are starting to arrive. We now have:

American Tactical Imports FX45 Titans (blue and stainless steel)
Fresh supply of Ruger LCP 380acp pistols
Taurus Judge revolvers in both the standard and magnum sizes

I am also, finally, able to acquire some of the hard to get 380acp, 9mmX19, 357 mag. And other ammo that has been in short supply so if you need some ammo be sure to call us to see what we have.

In the long guns I have one of the Kel-Tec SU16-C carbines in. This is the hard to get model the can be fired with the stock folded.

December 18-19, 2010 – Metcalf Gun Show, Century II Convention Center, Wichita, KS.

There is going to be a gun show December 18-19, 2010. The show will be at Century II Convention Center, Wichita, KS. Yes, all of you locals, you heard me right Century II downtown Wichita Kansas.

The promoters, Metcalf, are billing the show as a 750 table show with a capacity for 1000 tables.

I would like to thank everyone that came out to the CTAGA gun show. If you came by the table and I didn’t get a chance to talk to you I am sorry for that. At times we were so busy that I couldn’t talk much.

The good news is, we have been getting some stock back in and we have a good selection of handguns in at this time with more coming in every day. If you need something special just let me know what you want and I will try to find it for you. I also have some WASR-10 rifle and AK-47 pistols in.

On doing transfers for my customers - We started doing them because a lot of you needed an FFL to transfer to when you bought some thing off of one of the auction sites. Here lately, I have been getting a lot more calls telling me that a customer has ordered a firearm from one of my suppliers and they want me to do the transfer for my regular fee and they get the firearm for the wholesale price. What brought this up was I just got a call that someone ordered a firearm from a supplier that I had in stock and they wanted me to do the transfer so they could get the firearm cheaper. So, as of this date of this posting, any firearm transfer coming from a supplier on list below the transfer fee will be ~ $40.00 for the first firearm and $15.00 for each additional firearm done on the same 4473. All other transfers will remain at $15.00 per 4473.

More Rock Island 1911’s Have Arrived!

We have just received a shipment of Rock Island 1911A1 compacts. I have enough of them to cover everyone on the wish list and still have some to take to the gun show unless I sell them all first. I also will have some of the Rock Island 1911 Tactical and Nickel plated in before the show. Shipment should arrive by March 3 or 4.

Also, just received one of the new Ruger LCR revolvers. I have not had one in my hands before and it is a sweet little firearm. If you want one of these you might want to call me as soon as you can because it is going to the first buyer.

New Arrivals & CTAGA Gun Show Mar 6-7, 2010

We have just received several of the DPMS LR-05UPS complete unassembled lower receiver kits in. These kits include the lower receiver, lower parts kit and a 6 position Pardus stock. I have these at a special price that when these are gone the price will go back up.

We have also received some of the Century Arms WASR-10 AK-47 rifles in. I haven’t had these for awhile because the price was out of reach. The prices have come back down so I will be carrying them again.

We also have some of the Phoenix arms HP-22 pistols in nickel and the Taurus Night Court Judge revolvers in 45LC/410 2 1/2″.

Be sure to mark your calendar for the CTAGA gun show 03/06/10 and 03/07/10. We will be in the Northwest corner as always and we want to see you there.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Turkey Day. We will resume regular hours on Monday Nov 30th.

I did not have enough stock of some firearms that were popular at the gun show so some of my customers asked me to order more of them in. No one gave me a down payment or put their name to put on the want list so I am offering these up to all of my customers.

I now have Century Arms AK-47 Draco pistols in 7.62X39 and Taurus Night Court Judges, Magnum with 3″ cyl. and 3″ barrel in stock.

Also, have a few 1000 rounds of Wolf 7.62×39.

Ammo fire in Russia

A very large ammo arsenal in Russia has exploded and burned. I have included a link at the end of the blog. You might want to think about stocking up on 7.62X39 ammo because this might cause some shortages. As soon as I heard the news I ordered several thousand rounds to have in stock just in case and It should be in next week. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKe-Cu01bA0

In other news, I have sold out of the Century Arms Draco AK-47 pistols, but I will have some more coming in next week. I will also have some of the Rock Island 1911A1 Tactical back in stock next week.

Also, remember that we will be at the gun show on 11/21 and 11/22 at the Kansas Coliseum so I hope to see all of you there.

Taurus News …

I just received word from one of my distributors that Taurus prices are going to increase 5% on Monday. I am going to keep my in stock items at the price I have on them but once they are gone the price will be going up. I have several Taurus pistols on order at this time so I will blog about them when they get here.

The gun show last weekend wasn’t great but we did sell out of some of the firearms so if you have something in mind you might want to email us. The Judges sold out first thing Saturday morning but I do have some more coming in. If you want one you might want to put your name on the want list.

We also have one SU-16A Kel-Tec rifle in stock.
