Two of “WELLINGTON’S OWN” young men are returning home after serving their country in Afghanistan.

We joined friends and family at a homecoming celebration for Dylan Richardson and Nakia Hearlson! The celebration was at the American Legion in Wellington, KS.

Once again “Welcome home and thank you, Nakia and Dylan, for your service to us all.”

Basic Handgun Class-Ladies Only

I am teaching a “Ladies Only” Basic Handgun Class this Saturday (July 16th) starting at 9am. The class will include classroom information on Handgun Safety, Choosing the Correct Handgun, Marksmanship Fundamentals, Use of Force and your rights to defend yourself and much more. We will also be on the range doing live fire drills to help improve your shooting and boost your confidence with the handgun.

Up Coming Gun Shows

Just received a flyer from Metcalf Gun Shows. They are not going to do any Kansas gun shows for the foreseeable future. They said that they had experienced the worst drop in gun show attendance in the 18 years that they have been doing this.

We have also seen this trend so we have dropped back to only doing the two CTAGA shows per year (October and March).

We ask that, if you can only go to one or two gun shows per year, you attend the gun shows put on by the local gun club (Chisholm Trail Antique Gun Association – CTAGA). That way the money stays in the local area. And remember it is the largest gun show in Kansas anyway.

OK, I will get off of my soap box now. If you haven’t been to the website lately please check it out. Sandy has been working overtime to get all of our inventory on so you will be able to see what we have. It is a “work in progress” so check back often.

Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone has a happy thanksgiving and just wanted to let you know that we will be closed on Thursday 11/25/10 (Thanksgiving).

I also want to tell you about some of the firearms that just arrived. We have Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 380 pistols with the built in laser, AK-47 pistols, HiPoint Carbines in 9mm and 45acp and Kel-Tec SUP-2000 in 40s&w that uses the Glock magazines.
