REMINDER – Raffle ends February 19, 2010
Reminder – The raffle ends February 19th. Drawing will be at 5:00pm at Sumner County Sheriff’s Office, 610 N Hilside, Wellington, Kansas.
Raffle tickets are $10 each and they can be purchased from us at Countrysidewalk Trading post or by contacting the K-9 officers, deputy Rodger Church 620-440-1720 and deputy Tim Soule 620-440-1721. Click here to view the raffle flyer.
The Sumner Country Sheriff K-9 unit is entirely funded by donations from the public and fundraisers. The taxpayers pay no money for the dogs. The K-9 program started more than 10 years ago. The dogs are treated like any other officer. The money raised goes to the cost of training, care and cost of the K-9 officers.
