We will be getting a shipment of the new American Tactical Import 1911 pistols in at the first of next week. I will only have a few of each but they will be the 3.18” barrel compact with adjustable sights, 4.25” commander size with fixed military style sights and the 5” full size with the fixed military style sights.
We will also be getting a few of the American Classic 4.25” commander size 1911 pistols in.
Some of the other firearms that are on the way are HiPoint 9mm pistols and the Kel-Tec SU16-C rifles.
Keep a watch on the web site for all of these to be listed, or you can email us anytime. You can also call us at the shop between 10am and 5pm Monday thru Thursday.

It is hot in Kansas. yesterday it was 99 and today is going to be at least that hot.
I have a few minutes this morning so I thought I would write a quick note to everyone. We just received some of the Hi Point CF380 pistols. These come from the factory with a hard case. We had a customer that wanted one of these and due to a computer problem we have lost that information so I am going to hold one of them for two weeks to hear from you. We also have 380 acp ammo in stock for these. (However, we do not ship ammo.)
We also were able to get some of the Kel-Tec SU16-C .223 carbines. We have one that was not spoken for. This is the carbine that can be fired from the folded position and is very hard to get. This one will go first come first sold.

This last weekend, I finally had a chance to take Sandy’s 1911A1 Rock Island Tactical out and shoot it. It performed just like I expected it to. Digested any type of ammo that I loaded into it. I had some Federal, Winchester and even some CCI aluminum cased FMJ that I used. It ate them up and spit them out without any problem.
At the same time, I had a Chiappa 1911-22 .22 that we had just received so I took it also. I have never had one of these in stock and I have wanted a .22 1911 for myself so I thought this would be a good time to try one out. In loading the magazine I was not real impressed. The inside of the mag is larger than the shell by quite a bit so the shells load into it something like a double stack mag but not exactly. I tried several different types of ammo (Federal, Winchester, CCI Stingers, Wolf , Etc) and found out that this pistol likes the copper plated bullets better than the plain lead ones. At least twice on the first shell with the lead bullets it did not feed right but after the first one everything was ok. I did have one failure to fire (it looked like a light strike). Let me be clear, this firearm came right out of the box with no cleaning, lube or break-in so I will reserve judgment until I get a chance to clean it and try it again. I am going to call this one a keeper, so that might tell you what I thought about it.
In the shop, I do have some Taurus 24/7 compacts and Judge 45/410 revolvers in stock and by next week I should have a shipment of Ruger LCP pistols in stock. Also, plenty of Rock Islands in stock.
I hope that you have a great weekend,

I was finally able to get some of the Chiappa 1911-22 pistols in stock. After holding one of them, I am going to have to keep one for myself.
We also received some of the American Classic Commander size tactical pistols with adjustable sights and Taurus PT-22 tip-up barrel 22rf semi-autos.
In this same order, I got some things to trick out one of the AK-47 pistols. So as soon as I get it done I will be posting a picture and writing a blog on how I did it.

Just arrived – Chiappa 1911-22 Standard.

The Chiappa Model 1911-22 is a rimfire replica of the most well-known firearm designed by John Browning. The original M1911 was a single-action, semiautomatic pistol chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge.
It was the standard-issue side arm for the United States armed forces from 1911 to 1985, and is still carried by some U.S. forces. In total, the United States procured around 2.7 million M1911s and M1911A1 pistols during its service life.
The Chiappa Model 1911-22 features similar weight, and handling characteristics of the original 1911, however, we have redesigned the action utilizing a fixed barrel design yielding very high accuracy at an affordable price. (Less money than most 1911 rimfire conversion kits).
The Chiappa 1911-22 is constructed from Chiappalloy* & steel components featuring wooden two piece grips. With both standard and target models available, it is the natural choice for semi-auto plinking, target shooting, and affordable handgun fun.

I have a boat that I don’t have a use for. It is a Rich Line 16 to 17′ V-bottom and has a trailer. I will sell it for $400.00. You can see pictures of it on the www.countrysidewalk.com web site. My granddaughter and I used this boat for several years on our pond but as she has gotten older we don’t fish together much any more.

Rich Line V-Bottom Boat and Trailer
On the shop side, we have plenty of 7.62X54R, 7.62X39, 380 acp, 9mm, 40 s&w and 45 acp ammo in stock at this time.
We also have Rock Island 1911s in stock as well as Century Arms WASR-10 and AK-47 pistols.
That’s all for today,
